Things to do at Jungfraujoch

Jungfraujoch sits at 3,454 m and calls itself the Top of Europe, home to the highest railway station in Europe. There are two routes up: via Grindelwald Terminal and the Eiger Express cable car, or via Lauterbrunnen and Kleine Scheidegg on the cogwheel line.

A standard return from Interlaken runs to around CHF 220-260 depending on the route and season, though the Good Morning Ticket (first train up) and the Half Fare Card both cut the price meaningfully. Once up top, the Sphinx observation terrace, the Ice Palace tunnelled into the glacier, and the Aletsch Glacier viewpoint are the fixed attractions, plus a snow plateau for a short walk outside.

Cloud sits on the summit often enough that checking the live webcam before buying is worth the two minutes it takes, since no refund follows a whited-out view.
